Although probably not the Rainbow Serpent from the myths of the Aboriginal people in the Pennefather River region, the serpent seems to have taken the name for his own, and the mystics in the region have not challenged him on it. He dwells within the Pennefather river itself, and although it is rare for him to leave his territory, he has been known to assist Aboriginal koradji to traverse mana storms, or shelter them until it passes.
